What is Smiles and Shambles?
Well lets just say I’m still on the journey to finding that out!
What I know “Smiles and Shambles” is so far:

- Breaking your cool new wine glass that later becomes a totally cool unique candy dish
- Being ok when the cookies burn!
- Learning from those ruined cookies so next time you can enjoy a perfect second of eating warm gooey right out of the oven not so burned cookies!
- Enjoying the smallest happiest moments of your life
- Lots of crafting, cooking, baking, and who knows what else!

I’m your basic craft, cooking, baking, and domestic blog with a spin of my life and lets be honest…happy imperfection…a beautiful mess of flour on your ceiling, hot glue on your couch, and leaving the windows open when it rains…but with yummy cakes and beautiful crafty goody’s to wear!
Who am I?
My name is Bethy. I love to bake, cook, craft, go on adventures, wear girly dresses, and even clean…but I’m not always the best at it! I am also a fan of video games, color guard, dancing in the middle of the grocery store, kitty’s, kids, and eating way to much chocolate! I am a newly wed to an amazing geeky guy. We have way to many kitties that we love like kids. And we all live together in a little crooked house! Ok well we actually live in a tiny, open, retro apartment that is made from the corner of a historic old house! We call it the tree house because it’s our high up cozy get away! I am on a very important journey, learing to love life and all it’s imperfections while doing the things that make me happy!
What is “The Monday Pick Me Up” ?
The Monday Pick Me Up is a fun and upbeat post I will write every Monday! It will usally take a break from recepes and how to’s and instead focus on things to make Mondays a bit more fun! It may feature some items from my favorie stores, it may talk about things that make me happy, it may be about hopes for the future, maybe something funny…basically it will be a light hearted pick me up for the week ahead!
